Manuel has a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, and a specialist degree in Tax Law at Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-GVLAW).

He was part of the extension Tax Planning, Accounting Applied to Law and Tax Accounting from the Fundação Getulio Vargas Law School (FGV-GVLAW), and he was also part of the extension Real Estate Law at Escola Paulista de Direito (EPD).

Prior to joining the firm, Manuel was founding partner of prominent law firm, where he leaded the Tax, Contracts and Real Estate departments and the merger and acquisitions transactions.

Manuel was Councilor Judge of the Municipal Tax Appeal Council of São Paulo and currently is founding member of the Sociedade Rural Brasileira Tax Committee.

He is MBA professor in Agribusiness Law at Escola Brasileira de Direito (EBRADI).
